API keys for your payroll system

If your payroll system can fetch data, it can read the same numbers as the hand-off files: hours per earning code and pay items (allowances, bonuses and deductions, with deductions negative).

1. Open Settings › API keys and create a key. Copy the secret now: it's shown only once.
2. Give it to your payroll provider. The key can only read; it can't change anything.
3. It sees amounts only if the person who created it can see pay.

Delete a key to stop it working at once.
